Redistricting Committee Meeting

The school district is changing their school boundaries, and they are in the process of taking comments, listening to families and teachers, and looking at many studies.  This redistricting will directly affect the Sandstone families, and we have an opportunity to let our opinions be known. The two different options will be Option A and Option B.  It is of paramount importance that parents and teachers become educated and let their voices be known.  In Option B, all of the families north of Wicks will be relocated to Eagle Cliffs Elementary.

The information that you need is on the Billings Public Schools website.  There is an online survey in which you can let your opinion be known.  Also, you are invited to attend a public meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 10 at 6:00 at the Lincoln Center Board Room.  These meetings tend to be under-attended, and the committee members are unaware or in the process of becoming aware of the effects that these changes will have on Sandstone and Eagle Cliffs.
